06:45: Our Tour Guide picks you up at the hotel in city center Saigon, then transfer to the pier
07.00: Departure and enjoy the interesting and comfortable feeling on speed boat about 2 and half hours to enjoy the sun, the wind and the boundless sky as well as to have light breakfast, taste some seasonal fruits, snack and soft drink on speed boat while discovering the original landscape and life style along river banks. The earlier you depart, the more activities you could enjoy and the busier market Caibe you can see.
09.30: Arrive to Cai Be colourful floating market, where you can see sellers and buyers bargain and exchange agriculture products on boats.
Then, an optional stop can be made at local workshops where you can see rices paste, coconut candy and pop-rice, pop-corn made.
One more stop can be made at the nursery garden where you can learn how to have some high quality fruit trees. This is the best choice for you to contact the real famous farmers – Mr Tiger & his son who are very sucessful in Vietnam agriculture. We will enjoy some kinds of fruits from his garden & home made rice wine when listening to the traditional music.
A delicious lunch will be served at local restaurant on island or at ancient house (it depended on level water).
After lunch, the rowing boat will take you deeper into the countryside on smaller canals and to enjoy the peaceful time. It is so interesting to see traditional houses made of wood and palm tree leaves and see some activities of the local farmers with an apportunity to make contacts with them and see how they catch fish or pick up fruits by ancestral ways in Mekong Delta Tours.
15.30: Then get on speed boat return to Saigon.
18.00: Reach to the pier. Then transfer to your hotel. End of trip.
